Mac63

Some of the best advice I ever received when I started collecting glass was that you need to be patient and eventually the “it” pieces will come to you. I am happy to say that one of the “it” pieces I coveted for a long time has finally made into my collection.
The first two pictures show my latest addition, a classic PK 3 handled shape in pink veined décor, 7.5”
In the third picture it is shown with two other pink veined pieces from my collection; a 7” quatrefoil vase and an egg shaped piece in a silver plated swan holder.
The last picture includes my all time favourite piece, an egg shaped vase that stands 5”. Look closely, there is just so much going on in this piece.
Pallme-König, in my mind, epitomizes the Art Nouveau movement.
Astounding piece, astonishing group. Well waited!!
Fantastic Mac63 the undulated tortured form straight out of an Alien film
the grouping simply gorgeous
I have great admiration for you & beautifully photographed thanks for sharing
They look so special indeed. Well done!
Thank for looking in everyone. Thanks Malkey for complementing my attempts at photography.
Mac, these are amazing. You know, your last picture would fit perfectly in a fine art book on PK!
Thanks Michelle.
What a wonderful shape Mac - a beauty!
I would looooove!!!.. one of these!!..:-)
This is a fantastic piece Mac! Although I only have one piece, I love PK glass! In the last pic, I love the two on the right - the swan and the egg - but they're all great pieces that I'd love to get my hands on :-)
Rick, I am happy to have that piece in my collection. Like you, I really like PK. In my opinion. PK knew how to push creative boundaries. At the risk of overstating my point, the beauty of PK glass stops me in my tracks every time I see an example of their work.
Pushing the boundaries is exactly what I love about their work Mac. Their form and decoration were over the top and so unlike any of their contemporaries.
HAPPY NEW YEAR MAC !!! ! !!!
