AboundingO…
(24 items)
This past month there was a local auction where it was held on behalf of a local university's History professor who had batches of tobacciana and Black Memorabilia.
The first photo is an old unopened box of Gold Dust with twins. This box is as good as the day it cam off the shelf. There also shows a hard to find info on the Gold Dust Twins soap dish. It is porcelain and I have no idea of mfg or year and would like to if possible.
The 2nd photo shows a Black Americana watermelon and baby as a razor bank. It is tiny, just a few inches long. They had sold one earlier for $20 that I didn't see fast enough. This one came as a surprise to me when I got home. I had purchased a box lot of damaged items and it was in the bottom. This one has more color than the other did.
The 3rd is a 2 faced bank, also rather small. I bought 2 and kept the ugly one. I like how it shows character.
The 4th is a bottle opener. For this I bought another perfect one and chose to keep this one. I like it's broken tooth.
What's weird is that there is no Primary Category for Black Americana or Memorabilia...............
