    Help!
    Cannot understand what this fine V & C movement is doing in this basically homemade clock case.
    But, also who could the clock have been made for? Is it C H or is it H C? I have traced the serial # back to 1905.
    Any info would be most helpful-I've tried to run this down w/absolutely no luck.
    Listed in Wristwatch category, but it is NOT-some info i found referred it to a railroad pocket watch-sounds likely but it does have the longest stem evr

      It looks very much like the logo of Hänni & Cie (established 1900) or Russbach-Hänni & Cie (as they became in 1921-23).
      With that stem, might have been a high end car/automobile clock.
