Hi CW Gang:
Thought I would post some images from my home as the Tree is now up. I was actually slow this year....lol. I love Xmas, the Sparkle, the lights, the holiday music, the Tinsel ( yes I use tinsel on my tree....lol). So here are a few pics from my home. I like the ambiance of lights and Sparkle in my home. Nothing fancy, just home!
Pic # 1 - My Tree. A garage sale find about 20 years ago for a whole $ 8, and I just love it. I put some extra green tree stuff around the pole to hide the pole more. I use extra garland that is just tree needle looking to help fill any gaps. Plus I use more Green and silver Garland ( rather than other colors) as then it fills in the tress so much better. About 4 sets of lights.............and many ornaments from my childhood. Then I MUST have old school tinsel on it.
Pic # 2 - The whole tree...I think it looks okay, and it really does look like a real tree even though it is an artificial one
Pic # 3 - Another garage sale find for $ 1 that is collapsible Small Silver tree. I bought some battery operated lights to put on it, and Ta-Dum.....
Pic # 4 - Is a Biscuit jar I bought from a Thrift store as it is a fair size. So I put some Xmas balls in it, and some tiny battery operated light and it sits inside by my front door. A recycled Christmas for me Every year, and just a Simple home!

@aura --> Aww Thanks so much for the sweet comment!!! I like the regular small light bulbs. One year I tried those LED lights on it, and no way ever again!! Just did not look right in my opinion. Not as much Sparkle. PLUS, I always HAVE TO HAVE Tinsel. I have a cat, but I put down foil around the bas of the tree and spray the foil with some CAT repellent.
As CATS will eat Tinsel. My Cat is 9 years old, and this has worked for me every year!!
Beautiful Christmasy Trees. and decorations!!!..Santa must feel joyous when he comes down the chimney!!
My sort of tree!
I have a very good friend who's tree takes 2 days to decorate. All balls are the same size and are placed in a very ordered fashion - by colour, in a spiral around the tree. Nothing else is on the tree.
She loves it and I must admire it. I don't like it however.
She hates my tree - all tatty vintage bits randomly applied. I love my tree - I can sit and look at it for hours with all it's little memories and quirky decorations.
Different people - different trees!

I will be popping on and off today as I cook and do the Christmas Thing here when the guests arrive.
I only have 2 hands to do everything. I keep telling people That I Hope the way EVOLUTION goes, My boobs will become ANOTHER set of hands to use in the kitchen .................. roflmao.
