Square Pendant with 11 stones and chain

I have been collecting for about 40 years. Have all types of jewelry, glass, silver, collectibles, Disneyana, Tobacciana, Military, and some other stuff. I've kept these primarily in fabric bags, and then in storage bins.

I am putting up stuff as I pick it out.

This is a necklace with pendant. It looks like it could be brass, or the chain may even be sterling even though it's very dark.

I have had it for under 30 years. Can't find anything like it online but I know that doesn't mean anything.

The stones are all different and very beautiful.

Any help anyone can give me in identifying this would be greatly appreciated.
