Yes, I'm posting two items today, and both of them are Italian. These chairs, just like the hanging lamp, were bought in Madrid ages ago, when the design items of the 1950s were not fashionable at all and one could get wonderful stuff at great prices.
We've got them at "the Other House" (the one at the Other City), but not n the living-room but the vestibule/foyer (not sure which term you'd use in Britain or in the US for the entrance room in a flat). It is decorated with all vintage stuff too, as well as a few paintings and big photographies...
I haven't been able to get the purple colour on the walls properly... I guess the closest to it is that on the second pic, a bit colder maybe? In any case, the effect is quite dramatic.
I will some time post about the sphere lamp... also Italian.

No, it isn't... it's one of Carlos's paintings, only I pixeled it -and removed its color- on photoshop to ensure privacy, but it would be nice having a Chuck Close, ;)
By the way, the colour of the walls came because of the floor... the tiles are the original ones from the 1950s and of course they will always be there -as far as we are concerned, so Carlos searched for colours that would match pefectly with the floors.
