The new bowl (images 1 and 2) is a different version of an old bowl (image 3).

On both the base colour is green with a thin, patchy layer of blue. Thus the inner looks green but the surface beneath the spatter looks bluish. Each then has a 'separated' spatter cased in clear glass. The colour mix of the spatters is different.

The new bowl, though clearly from the same maker, does nothing to help in my search to find an attribution, alas!

The "blush" around the edges of some of the confetti does look very Welz-y to me. That and the acid blue, orange and yellow.

Ian, I've always harboured the suspicion that the first one was Welz.

I think the use of the word 'blush' for what I've previously thought of as 'lines' is very useful. For this purpose 'lines' is too precise.......

These two are great Peggy... I love how the thin little legs really allows the bowls to stand out!

I love these 'leggy' bowls. Sadly I've never actually seen one in real life. They look so delicate it's amazing any survived

You are right, Rick.....the added height does let you see more of the bowl.

Hi Fran, obviously I like them but sometimes wonder if they had a use, for example as dessert bowls. I suppose we'll never know :)
