As you know, I have about zero knowledge of art glass. I know enough to buy a signed piece, however.
This is a piece of Mdina glass from Malta.
The height is 2 1/4 inches and it's in perfect condition.
Thanks to swfinluv1 for IDing my vase.

It looks a little like a really bad Mdina signature. : ) The piece is beautiful though!
You're brilliant, swfinluv1! That's what it is - I compared with signatures on the web, and my vase just happens to be signed with a bit more flourish.
I NEVER would have figured it out.....
