I am pretty sure that this bangle is made of ivory. It seems to be hand-carved because I can see some tool marks. The bangle is plain.
On the second photo shows an image of a nicely carved ivory bangle I posted earlier and a stretch bracelet with carved roses. I am not sure about the stretch bracelet but I think that it fits in nicely whit the two other bangles even though I am not sure about what it is made of.

Thanks so much for your comments, martika and kyratango. I guess I got lucky. They didn't have anything I liked that day, so when I was already on my way out I saw it hanging in the junk section of the store! It is too bad, though, that both of the bangles are a bit too small to get over my hands. I could wear them but I am too scared to crack them. I think I will give them to one of my daughters.
