Unknow military patch can anyone help with this problem with this patch like what company or branch is it from all I know is Vietnam plz and thxs

Vietnam era-- 7th Army is was in Europe.

a tab below the patch would say "7 steps to Hell"

So maybe this is a unissued jacket because it doesn't say 7 steps to hell

The "7 steps to hell" wasn't an official insignia. It is found on some items and can enhance desirability.
