This lamp was in my grandmother house. I can remember seeing it in her apartment in the 50's. Can't find any markings other the the hand painted initials L.K.Reed on one lamp and L.K.R on the other. I'm looking to identify the manufacturer, make and age.

Lamp fixture height bottom of base to the top of the socket - 21”
Lamp fixture overall height- 31” to top of finial
Lamp base diameter- 7” square, 9” diagonally
    Lamp fixture body diameter- 8”
    Material Base- Spelter zinc alloy?
    Material Body- High Pith Porcelain?
    Historical Information- circa 1940’s?

I think all your info seems correct. They are commonly called Martha and George Washington lamps. They come from the 40's to 50's, and most all unmarked.
