These have been in my wife's family for years..... The were refinished some 30 years ago and hardly used..... Actual age is unknown as they were found in an old barn.....

Almost 30 years ago I was in a small shop (I hesitate to call it an antique shop although everything was quite old) in rural virginia with my brother, who fell in love with a chair that looked just like the smaller of the two rockers. He tried to buy it from the old woman who ran the shop but she refused to sell it to him on the grounds that it was "a lady rocker." I bought it, love it, and smile every time I think of that day. How lucky you are to have a pair.
Lest you feel sorry for my brother, to my undying misery, he has a copy of the photograph of Elvis with Nixon at the White House signed by Nixon. And he won't trade the lady rocker for it either.

I would most likely trade both rockers for it.... :-)
