cast iron or other opens can be a mailbox for a brownstone home ....or a chimney ash cover or other please help thanks

Hi I have a small collection of Fire place trivets , I'm Shure this is one can be fixed to the wall beside the fireplace and dropped down to put the hot pot on or hung over the fire grate via the lugs.
