Holly Woodlawn was the subject of the famous song by Lou Reed, Take a Walk on The Wild Side ... Holly came out of Miami Fla., Hitchhikes her way across the USA ... Holly was in Andy Warhol Films, part of the Factory history. This photo was used on the cover of her book, A Low Life in High Heels. Photo was taken by Jarry Lang my late Uncle, a known celebrity photographer in NYC up until the 80's. It's an incredible photograph. One of my favorite that he took. Holly was an amazingly kind, funny and generous person. One of my favorite collectables because I was blessed enough to know Holly.

Never saw him/her on the screen, a friend of mine Bettina, a real girl, also worked at the factory but have never asked her doing what. From the pics I have seen of Woodlawn, this one is the best.
