Hello everyone.
Just a little market find to show you today.
Small Scarab on chain for $0.50.
It was very dirty and gritty so has had a light clean.....enough to know it is silver anyway.
Could not find a silver mark on the scarab but there is one on the chain.
Found some like this online......most said they were vintage.........it is a sort of 3d type effect from the side!!
It is a bit on the cute side I think and is the only one I have.
Sorry I can't give you measurements at the moment, we are in the middle of having our bathroom renovated ......what a mess!!! and I have all the display cabinets covered up hoping to keep out some of the dust!!!
Not that I think that is going to do much good, judging by the amount of very fine concrete dust on everything not covered up!!!
I know it will be great when finished........I just have to last the distance without going into meltdown LOL.....

Yes, definitely silver! That's a great find, as vintage Egyptian jewelry tends to be pricey.

It actually reads 'NEB-KHEPERU-RA' ... meaning Lord of the Manifestations of Ra ... the fourth name and throne name of Tutankhamun.

Lovely find and unusual construction!
Uuh, even with protection, your cabinets will get plaster dust inside... it is crazy how this fine dust go everywhere even when working on a very small area. Courage!

I am glad we are not having visitors for Christmas......there is no way I can get the house cleaned up before then.........not even sure when the workers will be gone !!
