    Appears to be some kind of wrench, bottom is a pentagon shaped socket, top has a hook and a pike. Measures 6 1/2 " long and is 2 1/2 tall. Has H87 and M1 stamped on socket body

      My guess is that it's a lug wrench. Probably made for a specific car.

      Hi ,I have a similar one I found in a shed when I moved house years ago and recently I spotted one in a railway museum Cabernet ,they describe it as a carriage cupeler, used to Hooke and unhook the metal ring buy the yard man.
      hope it's of some help.

      I think that it is a water meter cover tool. Pentagon shaped socket and hook or point to lift lid
