I bought this beautiful lady quite a few years ago from a local thrift shop. It was so long ago that I've forgotten what I paid for her - probably 50 Cents!
I absolutely LOVE her! I've been searching for more of these 1960s wall plaques, but have not seen anything to compare with her. She hangs on my living room wall.
Thanks for stopping by!
Bonnie
Oh Love love !! What a super find :-)
Mani - she's splendid!
Do you have her on display ? I would surely hang her in my bedroom :-)
Mani - yes, she is hanging on section of my living room wall between the living and kitchen areas.
Groovy !
What is she made of? She's super mod!
Celiene - made of a sort of plastic. At least, it sounds like plastic I tap my ring against her. The molding is fantastic.
FABULOUS !!!!
Is she Dutch ???
Ken - I have not a clue. Haven't found any marks on her. I did buy her here, though.
Wow Bonnie, she is fabulous!!! I haven't seen anything like this before...... just amazing!
Judy - I love her to bits! I haven't been able to find a shred of info about her yet.
How wonderful! She's fab indeed. Up to small details like the red shoes.
She's superb!! She also makes a pretty cool profile pic!
She is a beauty!!! And only for 50 cents....
This is such a cool piece Bonnie! I love the vintage clothing and that sassy stance... love it!
She is the height of fashion! I wish I knew more about her. Will have to take a look with a magnifier and see if I can perhaps find a mark somewhere. The back is completely blank.
Bonnie, I saw this page on wall hangings, the girls in the first row have something of the look of your girl. Maker is Tretchikoff, possible lead?
Okay, I looked further, and think you may have a girl "in the Tretchikoff style."
