Tis the season... this one I can date to Christmastime 1971 when I - yes I, your hippie archaeologist - allegedly removed this from a dormitory Christmas tree at the University of New Hampshire... allegedly... and (if I had removed it) would still use it on our Xmas tree to this day... Doesn't this capture the era, somewhat carefully cut out the design of a Budweiser Cap from a carton, add some sparkle et voila! Instant ornament ~ and if that doesn't capture the spirit of an early 1970's Christmas - I just don't know what does.
