Came from England with my Great Grandmother. She had it from her ancestors. It has wooden screws and has not been redone from what we know. We have always tried to find something similar online but I have never found it. Not even in an antique book. Would love some help
Yes, it's beautiful. We were never allowed to put anything on it or sit on it :) It has wooden screws and it's a few hundred years old I'm sure. It's never been refinished either. I can't find it anywhere :) Thanks for you lovely comment.
Thank you so much!!! That is really nice of you. My Mom and Dad have always wanted to know.. so all the years I've tried to find it via online and book stores, I just found this site today. Nice not to have to pay for someone to maybe guide a person to find information on something. I really love antiques anyway, so it will be nice to look at other peoples beautiful belongings.
