This is a vintage acorn necklace with oak leaves. It is gold in color and has movable parts. It has no markings that I can find. Any help identifying this piece would be greatly appreciated.

Go over the clasp with a strong magnifier: the little connector rings could be marked. You may find number 800, for example, which would mean your necklace is vermeil silver. It's very nice and not commonly found. I'll look forward to the update.

Maybe I just imagining it, but it looks there is a mark on one of the rings?

yep, it looks like a mark... beautiful necklace!!

Both connector rings are stamped - the rings on either side of the clasp. The stamp can't be read in the photos.

Thank you everyone...I think it may be a foreign mark. I am pretty new to this so I'm trying to learn as much as possible. I'll look again and maybe try to get a shot of it if I can.

Unfortunately, the closeup pic is too blurry to tell anything. Keep trying to get a better photo of the marks, it could be key to solving your mystery.

I have added additional pictures of the clasps. I cannot read it... Thank you nusaboutas6 for the comment and I really appreciate Efesgirl and davyd286 and everyone else trying to help identify this piece.
