When I saw this jug first time I was almost sure that the colours and the pattern were so familiar - it must have been Welz. Now I'm not so sure however it is green and oxblood with mica inclusions and the pattern can be named "decoupage".What leaves me doubtful is the textured outer layer and the shape.Of course ,I'm not so experienced at Welz's glass and this can be quite distinctive for him but I haven't seen this shape so far.
Any thoughts are gratefully welcome.
No, Ivonne, you were totally right first off. It is indeed Welz, and the texture can be found on other Welz décors too. Nice one! Does it have more than one rib?
I do not think the bottom is right for Welz ----- but it looks like it is ready for Xmas and some Holiday cheer . [ hiccup ] LOL
I'm so glad I was right.Yet I've learnt someting for years :)Thanks,Peggy:).
It has for ribs.

Beautiful and happy holidays!!
Wow, very beautiful!!!! Merry Christmas to you and your family!!
It looks like Welz to me also. Although Welz did use gadgets a lot to finish product, resulting in pieces with no pontil mark, it is not true of every piece. Their baskets, as an example, are commonly found with pontil marks. Since a gadget would grab a piece from the sides at the bottom, it would have likely damaged the surface pattern and as a result some pieces like this would have most likely had a pontil mark due to a punty rod being applied to finish the piece. Nice example. I am curious about the height of the pitcher?
SEAN,thank you for the comment and the love.I wish you happy holidays too!
