    My father is 85 and over the years he had a collection of over 100 clocks. This one is still in his possession!!!

      The clock has the Seth Thomas logo on the time movement works then there's a separate works piece which appears to be an electric motor - anyone ever see this before? just curious

      Can you post more photos of the mechanism you're referring to? If you don't mind my asking, what does your Dad remember about it?

      He says he think he has had it for over 20 years. I added two new pictures. I added a picture of the time movement works. The works with the electric lays in the bottom of the clock (you might be able to zoom in) it has one small wire and three coils. I also added a pic of the face - I might be visiting him later. If I do I will get a better pic of the electric mechanism
