I found this wonderful vase in a Salvos op shop (thrift store) last week. My first example of Kralik millefiori & I hope there will be more to come! I'd actually never seen a piece of this type of glass in person before, so it was a very exciting find. It is quite tall at 23 cm, & the iridescent surface is mirror like - especially on the footed base, where it has an intense "oil on water" effect.

Thanks also Michelle - I am pretty much obesessed with op shopping/thrifting...I have a few favourite shops that I visit often to raise the odds of finding treasures like this...it's definitely my preferred way to shop, because you never know what you might find!
