This was produced by John Ogilvie LL.D. after 13 years in 1883. It was based on Noah Webster's American Dictionary. It is said to be the first dictionary to include illustrations ( 4,000 of them). The four-volume set includes 3,000 pages with 130,000 entries. This set is leather bound.
I'd enjoy hearing whatever others know about these volumes too.
Very cool.
