This is another one of these types of clocks in my father's clock collection. Made in walnut. I skewed the door open on the second so you can get clear view of pendulum, weights and also see the original glass front in the door. The glass from the time period these clocks were made had irregularities as you can see in the actual glass when turned at an angle. This clock was in average condition when my dad acquired it. I think he found this one down in the New Orleans area. They used to drive all over the country looking for antiques on their vacation times. East, West, North, South and even a little over the border from time to time. My father used to be a precision assembler for the Marley Company back in the 60's and 70's. He used to balance fan blades on huge cooling towers that they would install on the roofs of huge office buildings and sky scrapers. He was very good at his job. I guess that is why clocks were such a fascination for him.
