I wish I knew what this thing is. My uncle had it, perhaps from when he was in the military stationed in Europe, Pakistan, Egypt, etc at times from late 1940' s into the 1960's. Copper, I think, but has a zinc or tin coating esp on underside. Little knob for the hinged lid is brass looking. About 16 inches across the top.
