    I sure hope someone can help me to figure out what this is. I own a small antique store and a friend of mine picked this up at an auction, not knowing what it was, and asked me to do some homework on it. I haven't been able to come up with anything. It stands approximately 14" tall and is very, very heavy. The placard reads:
    The Sam'l A. Crocker Co.
    Ohio Dental and Surgical Depot.
    35-37-29 Fifth Ave. West, Cincinnati, O.

    Not so sure I'd want this thing anywhere near me during any sort of dental or surgical procedure!
    Can anyone help me to find out what this thing is???

      No Steve. Never have found out anything. This belongs to Ernie. I told him I'd see what I could find out, but no luck yet. :)
