Cardboard Chrismtams Manger Set in Box 1940s/1950s

Someone on CW posted a set like this and I thought it looked so nice I went back to an antique mall and bought it.
Not much solid information on this but I saw some other examples on the net claiming 194s. I major clue as to the age is seen in photo 4. Each tab is lettered with which figure goes where and one has printed "INSERT COLORED WISEMAN HERE". A term that is a bit dated, colored that is.
Sadly this set is missing the holy family and the Christmas tree that goes on top the manger. Luckily I did not pay a lot for it. I'll find a substitute holy family for it.
