This clock is mezmerizing. The small gold pendulum spins around one of the metal posts, spins back , then goes over to the other side and spins again. The case is plastic but the knob on top is metal. I haven't been able to figure out what it says on the back. Its written in some sort of script. Any ideas?

I had one of these clocks when I was a kid . It came in a kit that you had to put together . Mine did not have the dome with it . It was a really neat clock . I have not seen one in years . I lost mine when my parents home burned down in a forest fire .

I've think I've read the back correctly under the key. It says Guildach and Japan under that.
Thanks for your input Nancy. It looks quite intricate. I am having trouble getting a clear picture.

Hi collect49, thanks for your comment. I think it was made in Japan in the 50-60's. The dome is plastic. I have seen a few flying pendulum clocks online but not exactly like the one above. It's a keeper as far as I am concerned.
