One of the few older hockey cards I have saved from the 1969 o pee chee issue. Gordie Howe was a great hockey player.

I didn't know Gordie Howe has a bridge named after him. Where in Ontario?
I'm from Manitoba and many years in Alberta with a touch of Saskatchewan also.

Hi iggy the Red Wings have always fared good lots of talent and lots of heart. I miss watching the hockey games here in Mexico its soccer and NFL not for me. Get the odd game on cable and some on the computer. I loved watching the original six teams as a kid. Gordie Howe, Bobby Orr, Bobby Hull and so many more greats.

roddyq, don't forget Ted Lindsay. I have a signed pic of him he wrote out to my Dad back in the mid 80's.
    18. roddyq roddyq, 8 years ago
Terrible Ted along with Gordie Howe and Sid Able were called the production line. He was a great player for sure iggy. And a super memory for you his signed photo made out to your dad.
I should also mention my all time favorite Red Wings goalie Terry Sawchuck as all my other favorite goalies played for The Toronto Maple Leafs!!
