We have a sofa, with two chairs (his & hers). I know they have been professionally recovered. I have no idea where they were made or came from. The cushions and base refilled with horse hair and straw (of some type) which has been replaced with springs and foam cushions. would sure like to know the value, make, and time period they were manufactured.
It is just a traditional sofa and chair design. Possibly 1940's but hard to discern. The carving is exemplary, nice carving throughout with good detail ! However we do not and not allowed to do values on this site. Check auction sites if you need value.
Hi! I would love to know if you found anymore information on your chair. I bought one almost identical to yours on craigslist a year or so ago and ever since I have been curious of the year. Mine is the same except it is yellow velour and the wood carving is just a bit different.
