I had this given to me when I was in my 40's from my in laws. I do not know any history on it. I would like to someday find out. It is a surly not an eyes sore like most desk can be to me. It is a beautiful desk that I will be able to admire for years to come. I am not even sure where my in laws had purchased it or came to have it in their possession either.
