Looking for information on my parent's clock. I have inherited it and was curious if any one knew anything about it. It run by winding. It chimes every hour. Would love to know if there is anyway of knowing what year it was manufactured
It is 21" tall and 11" wide
    Thanks

What does the paper inside say?
    2. Sheichelbech, 8 years ago
The paper is almost unreadable. To the right side there are directions on how to either speed up or slow down the clock.

Cindy is exactly right. Seth Thomas called this their "Sharp Gothic". It's from circa 1879. It was offered with a 30-hour, as well as an 8-day movement. Seth Thomas also offered an alarm option. If you perform an Internet Search on the key phrase Seth Thomas Sharp Gothic you will find other examples to compare your heirloom with.
Here are a couple that I've found: https://www.antiqueclockspriceguide.com/pages/clock8947.php
