I acquired this Antique Tiger Oak Buffet. I can't seem to find any information about it. I'm assuming it's from the late 1800's- early 1900's..
There are no maker marks on it either. Any idea of the time period and maker? Thanks

You're on track with the dating-- I'd put it in the 1890s- 1920. The dovetails are machined.

Thank you so much scottvez! I couldn't tell if they were handmade or machine cut since there weren't many and not very precise.

There were a number of big makers who put out a lot of tiger oak in Quebec, Canada, and shipped to the states. But there were american makers also.

Thank you phildmorris. There don't seem to be too many without a mirror like this one making it that much more difficult. Has wooden casters, wood backing. I wish it still had the key for the locks. The front pulls have what appears to be round, semi flat little nail fasteners holding them in place in front of the pulls. The hardware itself was made with tiny inclusions and uneven edges. The locks are vintage half mortise
