I'm not sure whether these are Welz or Kralik. The decor seems to be generally confusing between the two makers, who both produced similar decors. Would like to have maker identified by one of you guys.
Bought from a European auction site and unfortunately one arrived with a broken leg, which was a bit of a shame. I'm not an 'absolute purist' by nature and can never bring myself to throw something damaged like this away, unless it's damaged beyond all repair. As the break was very clean a bit of clear epoxy did the trick. Seller refunded 50% so all in all it was resolved amicably. Although a perfect pair would have been preferable.
22cm (8.5") tall
loving the acidic colours plus those cobalt blue feet
thanks for sharing Phil
Thank you CindB, very kind of you to say so...
I believe this décor is a Kralik décor. Cool pieces.
Thanks mate. Nice to hear from you Craig and seasons greetings to you and yours.
Thanks Phil. Same to you and yours.
Nice, these legs always have cracks- if you collect strutted or (spaceship legs) this is a common condition that I doesn't influences the price too much. I think this pattern can easily be confused... I have to do a shape study but at least the three usual suspects have the same exact pattern executed slightly differently, right now the feet look Kralik, the rim looks Welz but the lime on green coloring was popular on Ruckl lamp shades.... So I guess I don't know how to be humble and admit I have no clue...
