These are pictures of a chisel set my father recently gave me. He believed it was his grandfathers, but didn't have any additional information. It looks very old to me, but I have no previous experience with these sets. I cannot find any identifying marks either on the box, or chisels themselves. There are patent marks on two of the chisels, "PAT. FEB, 19.84" and "PAT. OCT, 24.82". If anyone can identify them or can provide any clues about the set - manufacturer, era, could you please share? Thank you!

For use in a woodworker's "combined plane" (many makers) such as the Stanley #46. The plane had many attachments & blades which allowed it to be used for many different functions such as "plow," "match," "beading," "dado," etc., thereby replacing a dozen different individual planes. Stanley did patent one in 1884, but everybody was making planes back then.
