Santo Domingo Circular polychrome red pottery serving / dough bowl ~ geometrically decorated to upper exterior in black on white, 7 3/8" dia. x 3" hei.
Unique and remarkable vessel ~ Santo Domingo egg white finish technique provided the vessel with glossy sheen.
You can see in the picture, some of the black fade or bleed area into the pottery
Overall great condition, with general darkening, scratches, scattered nicks and general abrasion/chipping to rim commensurate with age and handling through the years. There are no artists inscriptions/signature that I find.

i love this piece and in general, the boldness of Sto Domingo pottery designs. there's a real quirkiness to them i like.
