Can anyone advise I found this at my local Goodwill and fell in love with it. I would like to know more information like what kind of wood or any info would be helpful thank you in advance!!!!!????

Looks like teak, and made out of one piece of wood, which is nice. No maker’s mark on the base? You should use a food safe oil like pure linseed or tung oil to prevent it from drying out, plus it will really bring out the grain.

It is usually called treen or treen ware, they carve a lot of these at craft fairs you can sometimes find them. Very nice for you to find this, a beauty !~
If you have to use oil, any furniture oil from walmart will work.
How old do you think this bowl is Phil 1800s??
