Along with the art-glass bowl and brooch (she loved them both, especially the brooch), I got my mom a dark purple carnival glass vase and two of her favourite kinds of flowers: Carnations and what she call "Baby's Breath."
In the flowers you also see a card that asks if she want me to bury her birth certificate (she likes to say she's only 16) in which I wrote a very kind message of love.
I'd like to know: who made the vase? It was done in a mold. Very dark purple. Extremely thick base. Iridescent salts (carnival glass).
Photos taken circa 1 AM-- the earliest I've ever taken photos of junk. LOL.
LOL definitely NOT junk! I love carnival glass.
I will venture a guess and say Dugan, as the bottom of your spill vase has the same pattern as my Dugan bowl. This one looks like yours:
