    I found this item in a box of junk I acquired at an auction about 5 or 6 years ago. It is brass and steel or tin. The figure was not applied. I have no idea how old this is. If its a buckle or button or where it originated. I like a good mystery but this has me stumped.

      You do not tell us the size, making it hard to guess how he might have been used. Looks most like a button. :)
