Last post 2016-For kerry

This is one memorable watch that i have and it shall conclude my post for 2016. i will always remember how i purchased it. Saw it one fine day at the flea market. Wasnt intending to buy anything and so was just strolling around with my hub with empty pockets- didnt bring any cash along. I dunno what came over me when i saw this simpsons watch and i started to be in the aunty mode-bargaining for the right price straightaway.

However when i turned around my hub was nowhere to be seen (as usual) and i didnt have a single cent on me. Reluctantly i had to put the watch down and the seller gave me an irritated look. More people was also circling the stall and was asking about the watch as well. Immediately i signalled the seller to gimme a minute and i grab the watch and took off!

I looked for every nook and corner of the crowded market for my hub and finally managed to find him.Ran back to pay the very puzzled seller who might still be in a daze. Phew!

Bart Simpson is saying "Cowabunga" in the watch which during the 1950s and 1960s surfers adopted "kawabonga!" as a declaration of enthusiasm, changing the pronunciation slightly to "cowabunga!".Would love to know the age of this watch if anybody has an idea. Thank You.
