Hi CW Gang and ~ HAPPY NEW YEAR ~ for 2017:
I think Sir Tall Cakes might like this post....LOL.
Vintage Aluminum Cake holder, server. Handle appears to be Bakelite. unknown glass bottom plate. I no longer have this so I have no other photos or if it was marked. I am thinking it is from around the 1940's or the 1950's era.
The Only thing wrong with it -- is it does not have one of Tall Cakes - Yummy Cakes in it....LOL

I have one of the footed cake plate around here similar to this; I think this one is by Federal Glass. Today it will be chocolate truffles rather than cake on display tho', as I'm getting ready for my sibling's holiday gathering; if I remember later maybe I'll take photos when I get these ready.
Rose, I have seen these before but so many years ago I forgot about them. Loved those lids too !
