    I would appreciate any information on this oil bottle. It is a pliable plastic stamped RSI on the bottom along with JAX, FL. I have a set of 8 with a wire carry basket.

      I've never seen plastic only glass, with metal spouts.

      Reproduction. When these were actually used there was no plastic involved. The bottle was glass and the spout was metal. I wonder how many on here remember those days?

      Not a reproduction!!!!They do reproduce the glass bottles now days (to mess with collectors),but this is more of a "make them cheaper after people have stopped using these style jars to put oil in cars"
      I have a few and they are late 50's-early 60's, by that time most stations where using the jamb-in type spouts in cans.
