These are beautiful examples of women's Wingtip Figure Ice Skates from the early 1900's. I had to buy an entire collection of antique ice skates just to get this beautiful pair. The exquisite detail of leather work is most impressive and it shows a level of craftsmanship that is rarely seen in modern day volume oriented products. I'm tempted to "restore" them with black shoe polish and saddle soap, but love the ancient original work they way the are now. Have a Happy New Year!
Wow, these appear to be in really fantastic condition. Happy New Year to you!!
Jscott0360,
I honestly think that these skates could be used except they are so narrow and small I can't imagine being able to find anyone with a foot that size.
Rattle...... I used KIWI Conditioning Oil in the flat paste cans...... applied with a 100% horsehair shoe brush.... wait about 10 minutes and use same brush to buff. I have tons of Riding leathers and several antique saddlebags(Motorcycle), can beat this stuff
OOPS....."Can't" beat this stuff

Alan2310,
Thank u very much and same to u.
I often look at antique shoes and wonder at their width. What narrow bones they had!
These are beautiful boots. The shape of the last is so good.

Trey, thx for the love it. Wanna go skating?
Hey everyone! I found two pairs of antique ice skates in a travel trunk at a thrift store. Can any of you point me in the right direction as to where I can learn more about what I have? One pair is still in the original box and everything, it’s really neat!
Suggest u get all the info u can and Google what u learn from your skates.
