I found these in a thrift shop yesterday. They are in good shape. ...but I have no clue what their original use could be. Very odd.

The symbol? What do you mean?
They are only six inches long. They have the double man logo.

Candle wick scissors. Usually they have a small casing round the broad part but there are older ones like these as well. Like these:

You trim the wick if the flame is to high. The top end of the wick is still burning so the broad part prevents the wick from falling down and otherwise cause a burn mark on the table cloth etc.
Carpet seam scissors. Trimmed many seams with those things.
