    (11 items)

First holder is unmarked, 4 1/2" H; the next two holders are Royal Bayreuth tapestry, 4 1/2"H; the last is H&G Bavaria, 5"H. The first and last portraits I also have on hatpins. The third portrait I have on a broach. Porcelain portrait hatpins and portraits on holders are favorites and run a close second to my passion for silver overlay holders/ hatpins and enamels. So I am always on the hunt for all!

The first holder is my favorite. I really love the turquoise color at the top. The image of the woman is nice, too.

Your first holder features Queen Louise of Prussia. It's inspired by the portrait by Gustav Karl Ludwig Richter and was a very popular design produced (with various level of skill) by many porcelain manufactures in France, Austria and possibly other countries, too. A Google search will bring many results and you might find the one that matches yours.

Thanks Davy for the info. I was aware that the portrait was Queen Louise....after submitting the photos I thought I should have mentioned this!

The last one maybe Marie Antoinette.
