Piece is 4 1/2" across and 4" tall with a slightly flattened bottom. Top edge of hole is ground and polished flat. The interior is what caught my attention.. there are eight strands of glass that are attached to two places on the inside edge of the vase.. Never seen anything quite like it before. No signature. Anyone got any ideas?
HAPPY NEW YEAR FIXITJMC !!! ! !!!
Same to you and all the other Collectors out there!
Hey Fixit. HNY.
I used to have a vase with internal trails but I can't remember what the technique is called. I also cant' remember why they did it :( It reminds me of mucus if I'm honest (sorry - personal op only).
Apart from that I like the vase! Nice shape and spatter, and the trails look good if I forget they are internal!
This is probably Dorotheenhutte,Wolfach,Germany.

reminds me of Old English glass witch balls; maybe meant to be an oil candle.
