Unused complete 1970 vintage display card for "All-American Peace Finger" peel-off stickers with 36 stickers on (what was designed to be) a self-standing card.
Not everyone who opposed the Vietnam War thought that should be mutually exclusive from patriotism. Not everyone who opposed "the war" was a hippie. Various peace symbol motifs colored with American red, white, and blue became common to try to counteract another prevalent American sentiment of the time. As a college student with the new-found freedom to let my hair grow, I would often hear yelled from passing cars "Love it or leave it!" or "Get a haircut, hippie!"
Aah - how we've changed.
