I inherited this rocking chair from my grandmother who lived in the mainline Philly area. She had an extensive antique furniture collection that was mostly super high-end Chippendale, so this rocking chair didn't seem to fit with the rest of the house/collection. I would love to learn more about it. It's about 31" tall and the seat is 15" at it highest point. The seat is about 16" x 20". There are no stamps or markings on it. The spindles appear to be hand hewn where they taper into the top piece.

Hi, this rocker looks exactly like a chair (without rockers) I inherited also. The spindles, seat, wood and top piece are a match. Mine has a Stickley stamp on the bottom but is not more than 75-100 yrs old....maybe you could start there, good luck.
