#53 ~ 1960's Psychedelic Acadia Deadstock Go Go Dress. Swirls of colors and shapes. I mean how would you describe it? Loaves of bread being "baked" in flower power ovens? Or maybe a psychedelic PacMan teaming up with gum drops?
I look at this as a wild example of the extremes fashion designers went to for the hippie / MOD generation, creating designs the world had never seen... for better ...or for worse. I think it is cool! Compare this to fashion from the early 60s - amazing how quickly they reached this design conclusion after a subdued start. This prime hippie / psychedelic era artifact was discovered in 2016, unworn with Acadia tag in Pennsylvania.
#54 ~ An iconic 1960s anti-Vietnam poster by the legendary Seymour Chwast… produced in 1967 protesting the bombing of Hanoi in Vietnam and is an item I have previously posted.
